Here are some little unexpected and festive scenes from our home.
Piles of colorful paper and fabric on my dining room table. Our table is normally 100% clean and cleared, but I am embracing the chaos because of the shockingly creative, wonderful things my daughter is making from this pile.

Business gifts that my husband brings home for me - pecan pie (my favorite) - sent from the great state of Texas. Oh, the fresh pecans, the oddly delicious brown sugary crust. And if you scrape out the middle gooey part, which is gross anyway, you can justify two (or three!) more pieces. And a fun box too!
