Lesson plans are made.
The coffee pot is ready to go.
Fruit and yogurt smoothie pops are in the freezer for breakfast.
Books - such good books - are neatly placed on a clean table in hopes of avoiding the frustrating search for our current reads. Books never do stay in one place. I have one more week to finish out summer reading goals.
The Morning Time folders are stocked with beautiful new poetry selections and Shakespearean activities. Because we're just jumping right in.
And a skein of yarn the color of gingerbread has been divided in two and carefully weighed in the hopes that I'll get a little sock knitting done in the midst of it all.
I don't know if all of that will be any match for Monday - and Monday with a 2 year old - but I've giving it my best shot.
