Banana pudding was always a hot button topic in my family. One grandmother insisted on Nilla wafers with a Cool Whip topping. The other claimed it had to be made with graham crackers and topped with meringue. Frankly, I'll take it in any shape or form, but my husband isn't terribly fond of it. Your's looks yummy! Did you get some rain this morning?

It's not in my top 10 desserts but I do like it. And yours does look particularly good. The "Nilla" wafers add something even if it's that their name is Nilla.

Charlotte, we follow the nilla wafer/instant pudding "recipe". Meringue? That's crazy talk! :) And yes it rained here! Praise God!

Francis: I hate the name "Nilla Wafers" It makes me cringe but it so fits the weird 70s/80s vibe of this dessert.

This was the only dessert my dad could make and I'm sure that he got the recipe from grandma. I love it, but haven't had it in years.

Nope, that looks like something I really would not like to be near, let alone eat. But how lovely to have found something you can do to make other people happy :-)

Not a big fan either...I'll eat it, but I prefer berry type desserts. =)

I don't like banana pudding either, not enough texture for me! But if you take a Nilla wafer and put Nutella and a strawberry on it I am one happy person. :)

Banana Pudding? Looks like something I have never seen - but bet I'd love it! :)
