Sunshine Yarns Superwash Merino in 'Pacific'.
I intended to knit this yarn into socks. Handspun, handknit socks seem absurdly luxurious. I'm going ahead with the knitting but whether I will let anyone wear the socks is less certain. I may just hang them on the wall where no one will walk big holes through them.
I am super excited to have tried a new drafting technique that will (hopefully) create subtle color changes throughout. This yarn also ended up a bit softer and loftier by design. I have a tendency to overspin a bit. Hopefully I'll continue to improve with practice!
Ooooohhhh! Pretty! I am obsessed with blues right now and this color is just gorgeous!!! You would totally be justified hanging it on a wall.

I don't blame you, that's a lot of work! I love the blues and nice subtle color shifts.

You know, I fully expect to visit a textiles fair sometime and see you & your children at a booth...knitting & spinning & making a ton of money.
That's assuming you'd be willing to actually SELL your creations--a hard proposal, to be sure.
