Two things occurred to me recently.
1) I make my financial decisions based not upon reason or logic or long term goals, but upon what numbers I like best. Multiples of 4. Everything in multiples of 4.
2) I donate more to the second collection at church because I feel sorry for it.
I'm sure everyone has quirks like that (right, RIGHT?). I think it's just funny that I could go so long without being aware of them.
I usually avoid asking questions in blog posts because it sounds like a shameless plea for comments but I would love to hear about any weird quirks from my friendly readers!
Gosh, if I had any weird quirks I would gladly share them!
(It isn't easy being normal.)
(Nor is being deluded.)

My strange quirk (one of them) is that I never, ever write on the first page of a notebook. Another is that I put bobby pins in my hair upside down. :-D Have a great day!

I never write in the first page of a notebook either. That is weird isn't it?
I think I have too many quirks, if I listed them all or even just a few, I would take over your comments. =)

I count everything. I will count as I walk up stairs, I count things that I pick up around the house, forks that go in the dishwasher, second that it takes to change a diaper, etc. It is even more embarrassing when I find myself doing it aloud!

I have a plethora of quirks - too many to list. Probably the worst is that I humanise inanimate objects, a habit picked up from an overimaginative childhood. Oh, and I would never ever write in the first page of a notebook.

That is so funny that three of you skip the first page of a notebook! I've never heard of that before! Love it!

I always eat things in even amounts...one for each side of my mouth....weirdness. I also feel sorry for the second collection although I don't always put more money into that basket! =)

Like the other commenter, my father counts and times everything. Everything.
I have no quirks. :)
Okay, one. When my team is losing I turn the game off until they start winning or coming back, which is why the Mavericks won the Finals this year.
Four? I could see three or seven but not four.
Good post. Interesting.

Hmm..quirks, I'm sure I have a gazillion, but can't think of any. My husband could tell you a few, I bet. He's always pointing out things I do that are odd..but I blame my Swiss-ness.

I don't like odd numbers. If I had another child, I'd have to figure out a way to have another. Odd numbers drive me crazy.
I don't like the switches in my kitchen counter to what I do. I don't like to flip it down to turn the lights on so the one into the kitchen from the living room is the only switch I use. If someone else has used the other switch, it drives me a bit batty. Clear as mud?

Im the same way KC! Im not praying for a third child. Im praying for twins. Because then I would have 4 children.

I'm the same with odd numbers. Another quirk I have with numbers is that I see them in a gender. 6 is female while 5 and 4 are males...I'm so strange. When reading a book I read *everything* at the beginning (introduction, forward, notes, acknowledgments, etc.) if I try to skip it It will drive me nuts and I feel like I'm cheating or something.

I don't like odd numbers. I was overjoyed when my daughter was born on an even day, month and year. I was saddened when the twins were born on an odd day, but consoled myself that it was even year and month. I know. It's totally weird.

Quirks? Ohmygosh, how much time do you have? I twirl my hair when I read. There's apparently a gene for it, because my daughters do it, too. I can only bring myself to admit to that one quirk today. :)
