There isn't much new to post about this week.
I received America's Mountains in the mail yesterday. It's a good introduction. I loved that we were able to go through and identify what we had seen on hikes. I think I shall invest in a few more during our Earth studies next year. It's probably right on target for my 6 year old.
Barnes and Noble had a 2 for 3 deal on American Girl Mysteries last weekend, so my daughter read those all week.
This week has been a blur and I don't think I read anything of interest, save for Rustic Fruit Desserts. We've had some very small, but significant changes to our family routine lately and we are able to plan proper Sunday dinners. My husband is in charge of the main course. I manage sides and desserts. It's been dreamy. Mint brownies two weeks ago and cream puffs for St. Joseph's feast day last weekend. This week, I'm hoping there are enough strawberries in the market (my pretentious word for Super Target) to bake the Strawberry Ricotta tart.
I hope you have a lovely weekend friends!
