Alas, that's the way things go at 'as cozy as spring'.
As October nears, my husband and I are both in the mood for Loreena McKennitt. My personal favorite song is "The Highwayman" by Alfred Noyes, sung by McKennitt. It's gorgeous. She does the same with "The Lady of Shalott" . Just great music all around.
So I'll leave you with some snippets. I have Sunday baking to do and the Cowboys, ahem, the 3 and 0 Cowboys are playing the Redskins right now.
I love Loreena too. Gorgeous is the right word for her music. I once met her - she is tiny and so beautiful in person, her photos don't do her justice at all. And such magnificent redgold hair.

Thank you for reminding me that I love Loreena McKennit. It's been awhile...

My daughter and I listened while following along with the poems in our hands. Great fun. We both enjoyed the songs, which we've never heard before. Thanks for supplying our poetry study for the day.
